Independent Living Communities accommodate healthy older individuals who wish to live amongst their peers but still maintain independence and privacy.
While some of these communities have dining services on-site and include basic housekeeping services, they do not provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living.
However, residents who require a higher level of care are generally able to hire workers to facilitate independent living. Independent Living Communities offer a vast array of amenities and social activities. All of these communities are private pay.
